- advancing Islamic thought in social and metaphysical sciences.
Overview
Maulana Dr. Waffie has dedicated his life to the development of the Muslim communities within the region and throughout the world. He studied directly under Dr. Fazlu Rahman Ansari (r.a.) and returned to Trinidad and Tobago, where he later became the Director of the Muslim World League Regional Office for the Caribbean and Central America. Upon his retirement as Director, he founded the Markaz al Ihsaan Institute of Islamic Theology.
