Hinduism, as a religion began more than three thousand years ago in central Asia. In it all types of customs, cultures and philosophies can be found. There exists in this faith theology, cults, and every form of beliefs and practices. It is the main religion of India and has more than 450 million followers.
As a religion, this faith began with the inspiration received by the Rishis—pious, devoted, learned men. Their inspirations were compiled in books called the Vedas—the first being the Rig Veda. The Rig Veda is the result of the efforts of inspirations received by 414 Rishis. All of them contributed to the Mantras on a wide range of topics... the original inspired message from the Rishis are no longer available.
...while the followers of the Hindu faith may sincerely want to do what is right they have no authentic authority to which they can turn to for guidance. Perhaps, the time has come for them to take help from those who recognise Brahman as the one true God, declare belief in Him and denounce all manifestations attributed in one way or another to Him.
