Technical & Industrial Skills Training (San Fernando)
All are invited to register for the Technical & Industrial Skills Training Program, offered by the MAI Institute in collaboration with PDMAcademy and Masjid us Salaam, La Sophie Trace, Claxton Bay, and hosted by San Fernando Jama Masjid, Mucurapo St.
In this course, you will cover 2 core modules that help you access jobs and improve your marketability in the heavy industry and manufacturing sector.

This course is IN-PERSON only, at Haji Shafick Islamic Center, San Fernando Jama Masjid, Mucurapo St., San Fernando.
- Duration is 6 weeks: starts January 13th
- Classes are Monday to Thursday from Maghrib (6.00 pm) to Isha (7.30 pm)
- Professional Certificate of Achievement on Completion

Overview & Facilitators
Module 1: Basic Domestic & Industrial Wiring
Combine theory & practice in electrical safety, circuit design and wiring techniques, in accordance with the national Wiring Code. Learn effective tool usage, material selection and circuit construction for lights, plugs and air conditioning units.

Module 2: Basic Industrial Health & Safety Training
Learn about hazard identification, risk assessment, safety regulations, and emergency response in the industrial workplace. This course includes personal protective equipment (PPE), safe work practices, materials handling and storage, industrial hygiene, fall protection and more.

Module 2: Basic Industrial Health & Safety Training:
Gain vital knowledge and skills of OSHA CFR 1910 General Industry Training for safe work environment. Boost your CV while you learn about hazard identification, risk assessment, safety regulations, and emergency response.
